But Embry had met Greer years back, falling in love with her instantly, giving her up when he finds out Maxen too loves her. Instead, Maxen chooses Embry to be his running mate. Embry lets him go knowing the American people are not ready for a same sex couple in the white house. Embry Moore served with Maxen who was being groomed for the presidency during the time that Embry and Maxen fell in love. There are a lot of flash backs to when all three knew each other earlier in life. But it is that good and there is so much more. I say it is a threesome between the first lady, the VP and President. When I try to explain this book, I don’t think I do it justice.
Oh, what can I say about this book except for holy hell-I can’t wait until the American King! This is a refreshing MMF book and different from so many I have read in the past and I love my MMF books. Simone, don’t make us wait to long for the American King! There is so much intrigue, darkness, suspense and love packed in this book! Please, Ms. This trio is in so much love with one another and they are desperate to be together, until a foriegn terrorist sets his sights on the future first lady. It was a one night stand, or so Greer always believed. When he sends the VP, who was once the President’s lover, to the see Greer, she remembers the night she spent with the VP years before. Now, he is in the white house and is a widow. Greer met Maxen years ago and became infatuated by him yet when she meets him years later, he is engaged. It is deep and thought provoking, loving and kind. I love this book-what can I say I love a good MMF and this book delivers.
